Top Ten: Do’s and Don’ts of Surviving the Last Week of School

DO: Bring pencils, paper, and study guides to school.

  • DON’T: Make beats with the writing utensils on your desk.

DO: Bring comfort food to survive the day.

  • DON’T: Have a pizza delivered to your classroom.

DO: Bring headphones to keep calm during assignments or disruptions by students.

  • DON’T: Harm another student when angry about an assignment or when they are just being annoying. Trust me, that annoying kid isn’t worth the embarrassment caused when you harm that child.

DO: Moderate your studying; trade off between studying and rewarding yourself with fun. Even call friends over and have a study party!

  • DON’T: Stress so much over finals, AP tests, and EOIs the point where your hair starts to fall out and people start to get scared of you because your stress has turned you into a monster 

DO: Make memories with friends.

  • DON’T: Become emotionally unstable.
